So now I have fleas in my house which I tried to avoid..not cool. Friendly invironment, but not competent in my opinion.

Prior to the second visit I noticed a few fleas and even gave her a few flea baths inbetween, just cause and figured it took time for the preventative pill to work...idk. Plus it wasn't an overwhelming amount at this time. After second visit still noticed the fleas and maybe a tad more...decided to give over the counter topical treatment, but also thinking she'd gotten the chewable at her last appt..a tad concerned..called the vet.....Receptionist could not answer my questions accordingly ..basically told me that she might of gained weight between and dosage would not have been appropriate for her size..what?? Seems like they should take that into account and figured dosage would be for a weight range, right? Tried to ask if that was really common, but not getting anywhere with my questions. I expressed to her..that didn't seem like a reasonable answer. (Unless my dog was an anomaly?!? She seemed pretty average to me.)

No follow up call to check on my puppy & no call if they noticed the oversight initially or prior to me calling. Apparently no chart review prior to treating my puppy either. Nice.

Best vets in the Breeze area! I always feel like they care about the animals and are not a money grabbing operation. They normally will do follow up calls to see if your animal is progressing well also... Very nice.

Would not recommend to anyone. First appt with my new puppy, they gave her shots & sent some chewable pills for her one being a preventative flea pill. Had some explanation of what the pills were for, when to give to her, and what the next 2 appts consisted of. Over all initial visit was pleasant. Scheduled her next appt. Oldest daughter took her and stated appt went well. I took for granted that she had gotten what she needed.

Decided to call surrounding vets...got a plain simple explanation on oral and topical flea treatments and how they work and even some suggestions. Non of which was explained to me or even suggested at my initial appt. in breese. I called the vey in breese back to ask to tranfer papers over and for reimbursement of the preventative flea pill due to not being instructed/suggested/explained to appropriately. Had I known I would of done whatever to prevent the fleas! Well guess what...I was then informed that the on call vet didn't give the second pill...it was an oversight on him. Wth.
